The Bread and Roses Caucus are a Coalition of Independents in the NSW Socialist Party formed in early 2026. We believe that a strong, inclusive and democratic internal culture within the party is the only means to form a mass base for socialism.

Bread and Roses Caucus is coming in hot, launching inside NSW Socialists with a night of politics, culture and good vibes. On Friday 12 June, from 5pm to 11pm at the Red Rattler in Marrickville, workers, rebels, unionists and left mischief makers are invited to gather for bands, poetry, comedy and connection. We’re building a mass socialist party with roots in our unions and communities, and we know the struggle needs beauty, laughter and desire as well as discipline.
